For the past few days Isabella could sense the growing population of wolves in Darling, yet much to her dismay they were all going south - to the Pack. This didn't necessarily make her insecure about her leadership skills as much as why they were all going to the pack; were there really that many dissenting? Her adoptive parents, the previous King and Queen, had told her that they were scarce in rebels and held the most loyalty. When traveling as a young pup, Bella had seen many Loyalists within Darling and they all seemed rather content. Perhaps this was why she found it so hard to understand today, after Coheed had caused the initial upheaval which led to the divide, that more Loyalists weren't returning to her side. Maybe it was Isabella being on the throne now that disturbed everyone - her youth, inexperience, unfamiliarity. Afterall she had been kept secret for so long to ensure she actually survived to become Queen. But with a shake of her skull she dismissed these thoughts and turned from her outcrop overlooking the valley, distracting herself with other duties.
As was typical of her every day routine - really any authoritative figure leading a group of their species - Bella went about checking the land for tresspassers and marking her territory. As she was only just turning three in the next few months, Bella had yet to enter her first estrus. The season was right having smelled many other fertile females, but she was not. She late probably, always the last to mature to anything; aside from being Queen. A casual smile spread across her lips in amusement, laughing at her own thoughts which spoke at random during monotonous moments like these. Evelyn and her mother had told her it was helpful though. Thus she trotted around quite elegantly, enjoying the fresh, light powder across the ground. Her steps were muffled while every swish of her tail and movement of lithe appendages caused her presence to be dusted by snow-flakes. Ivory frame blended in quite well in these surroundings though she became blurted out when the occasional rockface or shrub became her new background. Auds erected themselves to the noises around her, moving down a small incline from her look-out point, the path was narrow enough to make a turn around a corner and be surprised; if not ambushed.
ooc| I mentioned the part about her being in heat since it was something you had trouble with. Auds mean ears and appendages are in reference to her legs, in case you didn't know. I included a bit of everything to give you an idea of what to role-play about as well as what others role-play about. Any questions or problems, ask me in the CBOX or on this thread ^.^

Amrita was laying on a rock, her legs curled up under her body to keep warm in this chill winter air. For now, it was quiet, just the sounds of the wind and distant howls of other wolves. Other wolves....Amrita's eyes closed for a moment. The female wolf was very near to four years old. She could breed if she wanted to and/or if she took the interest of a male. Yet despite her age, she was a loner, a rogue, on the outside of both wolf groups. She had been raised on the outside. Her mother never wanted to fully accept the change her life had brought her, but ever since the upheaveal, Amrita had begun to wonder if being on the outside was what she truly wanted. She had observed both species and was on the brink of decision.
Amirta's eyes snapped open suddenly as her nose twitched. She laid where she was was for a few moments more, trying to figure out if the wolf would pass near her. Should she greet the newcomer? She owed no loyalities yet, but perhaps soon, she would. A good first impression might help her when she made the choice. Amrita yawnd widely, showing her teeth before she stretched and got to her feet. She shook herself for a moment to rid her light gray fur of snow. Slowly, she sniffed at the air and turned her head in the direction of the wolf who was moments from being in sight.

The Queen didn't think it so absurd to be surprised by the sudden presence of another, but she was pleased that it was at least a wolf and not another predator; mountain lions and bears roamed around here. The latter should be hibernating, but Isabella still remained on guard. Even with the knowledge of a female wolf being just around the next turn, the female kept her defenses set; she had no reason to trust anyone she didn't know at this point. Caudal appendage curled across her spine in a dominant manner, hackles slightly erect though not in an aggressive manner and stature adjusted to give her a more regal appearance. Pallid fae peaked around the corner briefly, observing the female as being alert and very much aware of Bella. Licking her lips once, the Queen calmly approached with confidence, but not arrogance.
Enjoying the weather?
A simple enough question but great as an ice breaker. Not recognizig the strange female - not that that was any different from any other wolf she encountered - she smelled of neither Loyalist or Pack, though she was obviously in Loyalist territory otherwise Isabella would not be here. A few more steps were taken in encroachment before sitting down casually, tail curling around hindquarters with auds erect with the incentive of a reply.
You are a stranger to these parts, no? I don't recognize you. My name is Isabella, Queen of the Loyalists. Your name?
Bella spoke with kindness but authority, never once taking crystal blue eyes from the femme as she looked her over thoroughly to check for any signs of aggression. She seemed relaxed for now and, to Bella's knowledge, she did nothing to provoke her. She guessed within the next few moments that would be decided.
